Reuniting Families

At Tanya’s Home, we believe every mother deserves the chance to rebuild her life, and every child deserves the opportunity to grow up in a safe, loving home. We are a non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering mothers struggling with addiction and trauma, particularly those who have lost custody of their children. Through comprehensive recovery support, legal advocacy, and a nurturing environment, we help families heal, reconnect, and create stable, healthy futures. While we work towards opening our rehabilitation facility, we are also providing outreach case management, counselling, advocacy, and referrals and support for women escaping family violence.

Tanya’s Home is more than just a place—it’s a community of hope. We are committed to breaking the cycle of trauma and addiction, creating pathways for mothers to reunite with their children and regain stability in their lives. We understand the higher rates of child removal experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander mothers and mothers escaping domestic violence. As such, we offer priority support to help them navigate these challenges in a safe, understanding environment where they can find the resources they need.

Tanya’s Home acknowledges the Bunurong People of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Owners of the land on which we work and provide services. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present, and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
