Tanya's Home: Empowering Mothers, Reuniting Families
At Tanya’s Home, we believe every mother deserves the chance to rebuild her life, and every child deserves the opportunity to grow up in a safe, loving home. We are a non profit organisation dedicated to empowering mothers experiencing addiction, trauma, family violence and mental health challenges, including those involved with Child Protection or working towards reunification with their children.
Through comprehensive recovery support, legal advocacy, and a nurturing environment, we help families heal, reconnect, and create stable, healthy futures. We are currently providing outreach case management, counselling, advocacy, and referrals and support for women escaping family violence. Where treatment is required, we work closely with established detox and rehabilitation services to support access to appropriate care and continuity of support.
Tanya’s Home is more than just a place—it’s a community of hope. We are committed to breaking the cycle of trauma and addiction, creating pathways for mothers to reunite with their children and regain stability in their lives.
We understand the higher rates of child removal experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander mothers and mothers escaping domestic violence. As such, we offer priority support to help them navigate these challenges in a safe, understanding environment where they can find the resources they need.

Tanya’s Home works alongside The Hader Clinic as an additional support service, providing case management, advocacy, and child reunification support before treatment, throughout the treatment stay, and during transition back into the community, including support with child protection and court processes.

International residential rehabilitation and recovery services.
For mothers accessing overseas treatment, Tanya’s Home acts as an additional support service, providing coordination, advocacy, and child reunification support while treatment is underway, including managing child protection and court related matters in Australia, and ongoing reintegration support on return.
